But they should, because the chair you or your employees use day in and day out has a direct impact on how productive and healthy you or they are. Seriously though, these just are not something people really think about.

If you have a chair that doesn't allow for this basic level of adjustment, then you are just asking for trouble. If your office chairs are lame, then your people are going to be unhappy and agitated. I discovered that once I put out for a decent chair, my day went a lot smoother. What, you haven't ever given them any thought. When was the last time you really gave some thought to office chairs.

Being able to adjust for vertical height is a nice start, but isn't really enough. Once the proper height is set, it's really nice to also be able to adjust the back for forward and back.

The thing about good office chairs is that they have lots of adjustment options. I wasn't as fidgety and annoyed, and my back and neck could not thank me enough. Many physical problems can be attributed to a bad chair.

They may not even realize why, but they will be uncomfortable and probably irritated.
